Nokia Corp. (NOK), the Finnish handset maker, said Tuesday
JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s (JPM) holdings in Nokia have exceeded 5%
of the total share capital of Nokia, with the bank now holding
shares and financial instruments representing 5.76% of the
company's shares and voting rights.
MAIN FACTS:
-Of JPMorgan's total holding 4.73% was comprised of shares and
the rest were made up of various financial instruments that can in
aggregate result to a holding of 1.03%.
-The financial instruments are customary to the financial
markets, such as option arrangements, with expirations dates
ranging from April 27 2012, to Jan. 18 2014, Nokia said.
-The holdings are divided between various controlled
undertakings of JPMorgan, with 5.35% held by JPMorgan Securities
Ltd., Nokia said.
-The holdings were recorded on April 20 2012.
-At 1343 GMT shares in Nokia traded 0.9% lower at EUR2.68.
