Eagle Eye Solutions Group PLC (EYE.LN) said Thursday that it has won a contract with J Sainsbury PLC (SBRY.LN) to provide technology services for the supermarket chain's customer-reward scheme.

The software services company said it will deploy its so-called digital wallet function to let Sainsbury's customers choose personalized offers they want to earn Nectar points on using either the new Nectar app or website.

The new Nectar trial that runs on Eagle Eye's AIR platform went live on April 12 in the Isle of Wight, ahead of a potential rollout across the U.K., the company said.

Eagle Eye expects revenue from the contract, which runs until August 2021, to move from professional services fees to transactional fees as customers use their personalized offers.

This contract is in addition to the five-year contract Eagle Eye signed in 2015 for omni-channel coupons with the FTSE 100-listed grocer.

At 0742 GMT, Eagle Eye shares were up 7.4% at 202.50 pence.
