The rapid adoption of new mobile platforms, such as tablets and smartphones, in both mature and emerging markets is stimulating the growing demand for Logitech International’s (LOGI) peripherals and accessories. In order to capitalize on this opportunity, the company is continuously launching an array of innovative products.

Much in tune with that strategy, Logitech recently launched three multimedia speakers for home. The new speakers - Logitech z200 Multimedia Speakers, Logitech z150 Multimedia Speakers and Logitech z50 Multimedia Speaker offer clear stereo sound and have a smart modern design. All the three speakers can be connected to multiple devices like laptops, smartphones and tablets.

Logitech z200 Multimedia Speakers is contemporarily designed and can offer upto 10 watts of clear rich sound with a deep bass. The speaker comes armed with additional features like audio adjustment and bass tone control. Also, the high ratio of drivers per satellite is a positive for a clear and balanced stereo sound.

Logitech z150 Multimedia Speakers is a compact handy speaker having simple and easy to use control features. The speaker offers the package of integrated volume and power control along with a peak power of 6 watts.

Logitech z50 Multimedia Speaker is small but offers power of upto 10 watts. This mini speaker also has a high ratio of drivers per satellite.

While Logitech z200 and Logitech z150 are available in the conventional black and white colors, Logitech z50 is available in trendy colors like pink, grey and blue. .

Earlier this quarter, Logitech had launched a wireless All-in-One keyboard with a built-in touchpad. Recently in August the company introduced the first ultra-portable, ultra-thin touch mouse complementing the ultra slim MacBook and Ultrabook computers. Logitech has also expanded its range of tablet accessories to include an Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, along with Folio Protective cases for three different versions of Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Logitech is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative peripherals for the digital world which encompasses the design, manufacturing and marketing of peripherals for PCs (personal computers) and other digital platforms. Digital music products include speakers, earphones, and custom in-ear monitors. The Peripherals segment has been performing well in fiscal 2014 owing to an improved sales performance in the company’s growth categories such as tablet accessories, PC gaming and wireless speakers.

Currently, Logitech carries a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). Better-placed stocks in the same sector that are worth considering include Synaptics, Inc. (SYNA), Nitto Denko Corp. (NDEKY) and Atmel Corp. (ATML). Synaptics and Nitto Denko Corporation carry a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) while Atmel Corporation has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
