UPS Targets 50% Cut in CO2 Emissions per Package for Global Small-Package Operations

United Parcel Service Inc. said it is targeting a 50% reduction
in carbon-dioxide emissions per package delivered in 2035 compared
with last year for its global small-package operations.
The delivery giant laid out the interim sustainability targets
ahead of its investor-and-analyst conference that is set to begin
at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday.
The company also said it is setting a 2035 target for all its
facilities to be powered by renewable energy and for 30% of the
fuel used in its global air fleet to be sustainable aviation
fuel.
