Shell Oil Company (RDSA, RDSA.LN) said Monday that a small,
early day fire was quickly extinguished at its Deer Park, Texas,
refinery. The location of the fire was not disclosed, nor is it
clear whether the event had any impact on operations.
BP PLC (BP) reported a malfunctioning relief valve at a coker
unit at its Texas City, Texas, refinery on Friday; the status of
operations was unclear.
A wet gas compressor was shut unplanned last week at Alon USA's
(ALJ) Big Spring, Texas, oil refinery during a storm.
