Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 30, 2020, Marine Products Corporation issued a press
release titled, “Marine Products Corporation Announces Temporary Suspension of Production Operations,” announcing the
temporary suspension of production in its Nashville, Georgia production facility related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Company
announced that it will temporarily suspend production beginning March 30, and has not decided at this time when production will
resume. It noted that essential administrative and management functions will continue without interruption, the Company’s
corporate headquarters in Atlanta remains open and that it does not anticipate any delays in its upcoming first quarter 2020 earnings
announcement, its Securities and Exchange Commission filings, or its 2020 annual meeting to be held on April 28, 2020.
