Saving into My Filters

Once you have added the criteria you desire and edited their constraints, you may wish to save the resulting filter for future reference. The purpose of FilterX is to help you implement an investing strategy and build a portfolio out of the qualifying stocks. Therefore, it is important every now-so-often to revisit the filter you have created and discover what adjustments you need to make to your portfolio.

Most investment gurus revisit their filters on a monthly basis to find which companies ceased from meeting the criteria of a specific filter. They subsequently return to their portfolios to replace those stocks with others that now qualify for the particular filter. This is a continuous process. For this reason, the saving function becomes an indispensable part of any stock-screening tool.

Therefore:

Once you have created your filter, click on the 'Save as' button at the top of the core-page, and you will be directed to another page, where the saving function is performed. Here you can create a title for the particular filter, and store it into My Filters library.

Also, you might want to rename or delete an existing filter. In this case, you have to click on the 'Manage My Filters' button at the top of the core-page, and you will be directed to yet another page, where the editing function is performed. After you have finished editing your filters, click on the << GO BACK button to return to the core-page of the tool.
