MANILA--Philippine Airlines, or PAL, said Friday it will add two more Boeing B777-300ERs to its fleet to expand the carrier's long-haul service.

PAL, the airline unit of PAL Holdings Inc. (PAL.PH), said the additional Boeing jets will be leased from Intrepid Aviation, from whom the local carrier already leases one B777-300ER. Financial details of the lease weren't disclosed.

The new twin-aisle Boeing jets will increase PAL's fleet to 78. PAL counts Europe, the U.S. and Canada among its destinations.
