Textron Aviation said it has struck a deal to sell up to 1,500 additional Cessna Citation business jets to Berkshire Hathaway-owned NetJets over the next 15 years.

Textron, through its aviation division, also said it has named NetJets the fleet launch customer for its newest jet, the Citation Ascend. Deliveries of the Citation Ascend are expected to begin in 2025.

The new deal extends NetJets' existing fleet agreement with Textron, and gives the private jet company the opportunity to add more Cessna Citation Ascend, Citation Latitude and Citation Longitude aircraft to its fleet.

NetJets sells fractional ownership shares in private business jets.
