NEW YORK, June 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- SiriusXM will
offer listeners nationwide comprehensive coverage of the 2018
Belmont Stakes and the historic attempt by Justify to achieve
thoroughbred racing's illustrious Triple Crown.
SiriusXM – through its broadcasting agreement with Horse Racing
Radio Network (HRRN) – airs all Triple Crown races as well as the
Breeders' Cup World Championships. The wire-to-wire race broadcast
of the Belmont Stakes is provided by NBC Sports Radio and produced
in partnership with HRRN and Westwood One.
On Saturday, June 9, SiriusXM will
air live broadcasts originating from Belmont Park in Elmont, NY starting at 8:00 am ET. The pre-race coverage includes HRRN's
exclusive coverage of the undercard races at 2:00 pm ET. It will lead into the live call of
the 150th running of the Belmont Stakes, heard on
SiriusXM Rush (channel 93 on satellite radios and on the SiriusXM
app) via NBC Sports Radio, who will present live coverage from 5:00
– 7:30 pm ET (post time approximately

Justify won the Kentucky Derby in sloppy conditions by two and a
half lengths on May 5. In the

won again in sloppy conditions, this time beating the competition
by just a half a length. Justify, along with jockey Mike Smith, will attempt to become the
13th Triple Crown winner in thoroughbred racing history,
and the first since American Pharaoh won the elusive trifecta in
2015.
Pre-race coverage airing on SiriusXM will include HRRN's
Equine Forum show, airing live from Belmont from 8:00 – 10:00 am ET with live interviews and analysis
(Sirius channel 219, XM channel 201, and channel 964 on the

to SiriusXM Rush for a special extended edition of SiriusXM's
Down the Stretch, hosted by Dave
Johnson and Bill Finley.
Johnson, the acclaimed track announcer, and Finley will air an
interview with Bob Baffert,
Justify's trainer who also trained American Pharaoh, and provide
listeners with day-of news and pre-race analysis, and interviews
with jockeys, trainers and owners.

Races with Steve Byk airs daily
9:00 am – 12:00 pm ET, featuring daily interviews with
handicapping experts and trainers and an in-depth look at the field
(Sirius channel 219, XM channel 201 and channel 964 on the SiriusXM
