International stocks trading in New York closed mixed on Friday.

GW Pharmaceuticals PLC, Carnival plc and Ctrip.com International Ltd. were among the companies with ADRs that traded actively.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts fell 0.8% to 137.19. The European index increased less than 0.1% to 127.56, the Asian index dropped 2.3% to 161.50, the Latin American index rose less than 0.1% to 222.90 and the emerging markets index decreased 2.2% to 288.89.

ADRs of GW Pharmaceuticals PLC (GWPH) fell 7.6% to $116.41. MarketWatch reported Friday that Oppenheimer lowered their near-term and long-term revenue expectations and also dropped its price target on the company by $6 to $233.

ADRs of Carnival plc (CUK) fell 0.9% to $41.96. Carnival on Thursday lowered its adjusted profit guidance for the fiscal year. A number of firms have cut their price targets on the company.

ADRs of Ctrip.com International Ltd. (CTRP) fell 2.7% to $29.02. The company said that $28 per ADS is where its secondary ADS offering by Baidu Holdings Ltd., a Ctrip.com shareholder, is priced. The offering is for 31.3 million ADSs in the aggregate.
