Heineken NV said Wednesday that it has appointed Ronald den
Elzen as its first chief digital and technology officer and a new
chief supply chain officer as Marc Gross who has held the position
for 15 years will be retiring in April.
Mr. den Elzen, who most recently served as managing director of
Heineken U.S., will be appointed with immediate effect, the world's
second-largest brewer said. Heineken said the appointment of Mr.
den Elzen supports the company's ambition to become the world's
most connected brewer, as consumers, customers and employees expect
a seamless digital experience when they interact with all the
company's brands.
Mr. Gross will be replaced as chief supply chain officer by
Magne Setnes, currently general manager of Heineken's Austrian
business Brau Union AG, the Dutch brewer said.
