Amex Lists Market Participation Securities Based on the Dow Jones High Yield Select 10 Index NEW YORK, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today began trading Morgan Stanley Market Participation Securities linked to the Dow Jones High Yield Select 10 Index. Trading under the ticker symbol PPY, 1.1 million shares of the new eight-year securities were issued at $25 each, with a maturity date of March 30, 2012. At maturity, each Unit will entitle the holder to receive the $25 principal amount plus a supplemental redemption amount, if any. The supplemental redemption amount is equal to the amount by which the index- linked performance amount (derived from the 31 quarterly valuation periods) exceeds the sum of the principal amount plus all accrued interest over the term of the security.
