Festival is a three-day emerging music festival that gained
nationwide notoriety on the Daily Show in its inaugural year. Now
the festival is heading into its 13th year with eight
bands, full carnival and an Adventure Zone that includes
hang-gliding, flyboard rentals, paddleboard rentals and Segway
tours. The belle of the ball is the cooter, which is celebrated
with hourly turtle races, a water skiing turtle mascot and turtle
merchandise.
This festival brings the music and flare of sixties, seventies
and eighties together for eclectic music lovers. The band lineup:
U.S. Stones Band, Mighty Mongo Band, Supernatural Santana Tribute
Band, Making Faces Band, China Grove Tribute to the Doobie Brothers
Band, the SuperStars Band with Ronnie
Dee, JoJo Jones Band and the
States Band.
This festival bustles with a roster of entertainers from jam
skaters, hoola hoopers, fire breathers, extreme water stunt
performers, glass blowers, guitar playing fitness instructor,
ukulele player and cigar box guitar players.
This music festival has free admission and welcomes an estimated
12,000 attendees over three days.
