LOS ANGELES, Dec. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Kindarma is excited to announce the launch of www.kindarma.com a platform connecting those facing everyday life challenges with peers who have lived through a similar life experience.

KINDARMA - a Peer-to-Peer Support Network Changing Lives

Amid the loneliness and emotional pain of modern life, Kindarma is reaching out a hand of empathy and compassion that is greatly needed for many.

Kindarma is an accessible and affordable support network for those unable to access traditional support services due to cost, availability or social stigmas.

Kindarma deals with common issues such as depression, anxiety, relationships, addictions, parenting, grief, surviving abuse and more challenging life events.

Kindarma's name originates from 'Kin' signifying our connectedness and 'Darma' the Sanskrit word for "that which upholds and supports." Our Darmas have been background checked and screened to ensure they can share the tale of their own recovery and offer real hope to individuals who may not have much at this particular point in their life.

Although we are not professional therapists or counselors, when people want to talk to someone who can truly understand, we offer support, empathy and insights learnt in overcoming similar experiences.

Our Darma's fees start at $15-25 per hour. In line with the new "Uber economy" this allows people to earn extra income by listening, providing compassion and sharing their personal Emotional CV.

"There is power in the sharing of our stories. The connection felt by two people who have lived a similar experience is unique and creates a different kind of hope for those going through challenging times. It can become a crucial support to people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Our Darmas and their stories of hope demonstrates the innate human desire to help others. Through sharing our own vulnerability, we can provide hope and inspiration for others." – Shelley Buchanan – Founder and CEO.
