The Directors of JPMorgan Multi-Asset Trust plc have declared the following dividend:

First interim dividend

A first interim dividend of 1.00 pence per ordinary share, for the period to 28(th) February 2019, will be paid on 10th August 2018 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 29(th) June 2018. The ex-dividend date will be 28(th) June 2018.

The Company has elected to 'stream' part of the dividend payment and thereby designate 0.9538 pence per share as a dividend to shareholders and 0.0462 pence per share as an interest distribution to shareholders.

The application of this 'streaming' regime was referred to in the Company's prospectus dated 24(th) January 2018, where it was explained that the Company's intention was to pay both an ordinary dividend and a distribution designated as a payment of interest for tax purposes.

The Directors believe that, based on the current law, this 'streaming' of income from interest-bearing investments into dividends will be taxed in the hands of shareholders as interest income. No income tax will be deducted at source from the 0.0462 pence per ordinary share interest distribution, or from future interest distributions. Further details of the tax implications on shareholders of the interest 'streaming' regime can be found in Part 7 'Taxation' of the Company's prospectus.
