CEO Succession

JSG, a leading UK textile rental provider, announces that after 33 years with the Group, Chris Sander, Chief Executive Officer, has informed the Board of his intention to retire from the Group in the first half of 2018.

The Board has commenced a detailed process, both internally and externally, to identify a successor who will continue the Group's successful growth strategy. In order to ensure a smooth handover, Chris remains flexible over the date of his retirement in the first half of 2018 and will remain available to assist his successor in the initial handover period. A further announcement regarding succession will be made in due course.

Paul Moody, Chairman of JSG, commenting on the news, said:

"The Board makes this announcement with a degree of sadness. It has been a genuine privilege to work with Chris; under his leadership, JSG has made enormous progress.

Chris Sander, Chief Executive Officer, said:

However, I will be retiring at a time when the Group is in excellent shape and very well-placed for continued growth. My successor will inherit a strong management team and devoted employees. Their talents and efforts have been the bedrock of JSG's success."
