HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading provider of home emergency repair solutions, today announced the launch of its partnership with Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) to offer optional service plans for both interior and exterior water and sewer lines. Plans offered through HomeServe will be available to the 75,000 households served by CCWA, providing homeowners with coverage that protects them from the costs and inconveniences associated with emergency repairs to the water and sewer lines connecting their home to CCWA’s systems.

“For homeowners, it’s often a surprise that water and sewer line repairs are their responsibility, leaving them caught off guard and unprepared when repair are needed,” said P. Michael Thomas, General Manager, CCWA. “By working with HomeServe, we can extend affordable options to our customers that cover water and sewer line repairs and protect them from the unexpected expense and inconvenience associated with them when they occur.”

A Homeowner’s Line of Defense

The water and sewer lines from the home to CCWA’s water and sewer main connections are the responsibility of the homeowner. Homeowners tend to be unaware that repairs to these pipes are not covered by basic homeowners insurance or by CCWA, and find themselves unexpectedly having to deal with navigating emergency repairs on their own. Furthermore, they can be blindsided by the costs associated with such repairs. HomeServe’s coverage plans serve as a line of defense, ensuring that in the event of a repair emergency, the burden on homeowners is minimized or eliminated, and the repair process, handled through HomeServe, is timely, seamless and high-quality.

“Our service plans go beyond covering the costs of a repair – they also connect CCWA customers with the best contractors their community has to offer, to ensure they receive quality service,” said Tom Rusin, CEO of HomeServe USA. “We look forward to our partnership with CCWA and are pleased to offer the homeowners they serve some peace of mind when it comes to dealing with a repair emergencies.”

Accessible, Reliable, 24/7

HomeServe plan holders have access to a Repair Hotline that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as well as local, licensed, and insured contractors to provide high-quality home repair services in a timely manner. The Exterior Water Service Line Coverage will be available for $5.99 per month, the Exterior Sewer/Septic Line Coverage is available for $9.99 per month and a plan for in-home plumbing, the Interior Plumbing and Drainage Coverage, will also be available for $12.99 per month. CCWA customers that enroll in the optional plan will have convenient payment options available directly through HomeServe.

CCWA homeowner customers will receive details about the optional service plans in the mail. Homeowners can also visit www.HomeServeUSA.com/CCWA or call 1-844-849-3618 for more information.

This includes a Hardship Assistance Program and Senior Citizen Discount Program.
