Appointment of Chief Restructuring Officer
Acertec, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of engineered steel products for
use in the automotive and construction markets, announces the appointment of
Greg MacLeod as Director and Chief Restructuring Officer, effective today.
Greg, aged 49, is a Partner of the MPC Group, a restructuring and private
capital special situations investment and management company. He has extensive
senior commercial management experience and has worked in numerous successful
and complex restructurings. His recent appointments include: CEO of Yes Car
Credit, a used car retail and finance business; Executive Chairman of Thermopol,
a global automotive component manufacturer; and Executive Chairman of Jackson
Lloyd Group, a UK based social housing maintenance company.
Before founding the MPC Group in 1994, Greg was CEO of the European Media Group.
Prior to this, he was a Director at Arthur Andersen in the Corporate Recovery
Practice where he was involved in a range of formal insolvency and restructuring
mandates.
Greg currently holds a number of other directorships which are summarised in the
schedule at the end of this announcement, together with details of those
companies that he held directorships of within the last five years (including
details of any formal insolvency procedures entered into during his directorship
and during the twelve months following his directorship).
