Trading Symbol: TSX-MTB Frankfurt-M9U.F OTC-MBYMF STEWART, BC, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd announces that funding has been arranged in order to complete the logging and assaying of 38 drill holes obtained in a 2008 drill program from the BA property. The mineralized sections in the 38 holes are similar to that in DDH-2008-42 which intersected 65.5 meters of 112.57 g/t silver, 0.92 % lead and 1.51 % zinc. Some of the holes had mineralization extending to a depth of 320 meters below surface. This drilling was in a down dip direction due to the topography. Drill hole intercepts indicate that the mineralized zone can vary from 30-80 meters in true thickness. The company believes that the property hosts a mineralized zone representing the upper portion of a Kuroko-type volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system composed of an exhalite horizon with related zinc-lead-silver mineralization. This mineralization consisting of finely bedded sphalerite and pyrite with minor galena and chalcopyrite occurs below the main exhalite (red jasper/green to grey chert) horizon and is located within mudstones, mudstone breccias and dacite breccias. The BA claims are located 30 km east of Stewart in the Skeena mining division approximately 3 kilometers south of a power line and paved Highway 37A. E. Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of the exploration program on behalf of the Company. Drill core and surface samples are assayed by Assayers Canada of Vancouver, BC. Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd is a Canadian based mineral exploration company whose activities are in the Stewart and McKenzie area of BC. It is actively exploring for gold-silver-base metals on the Silver Coin project, silver-base metals on their American Creek properties, copper-gold in the Stewart area, porphyry molybdenum in the Stewart and McKenzie areas and copper-nickel-platinum group metals in the McKenzie area.
