STEWART, BC, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mountain Boy
Minerals Ltd announces that assays for the first 6 holes for the
2008 exploration program on the 100 % owned BA claims have
been received. Assays for DDH 2008-BA-27 to 31 and 2008-BA-42 have
been received. The BA claims are located 30 km east of Stewart in
the Skeena mining division approximately 3 kilometers south of
paved Highway 37A. To date a total of 48 holes have been drilled on
the main exposed high grade silver - massive sulphide horizon
Zinc-silver and lead values within the high grade silver - massive
sulphide horizon on the BA claims were intersected over at least
500 meters in strike length in a volcanic rock unit traced for over
5 kilometers along the west side of the property. Wherever the zone
is exposed along the 5 kilometers of strike length, sampling has
yielded zinc-silver-lead values. In the immediate area of drilling,
the mineralized zone is still open along strike and down dip.
Highlights of drilling includes 13.11 meters of 136.5 g/t silver,
1.37% lead and 4.11 % zinc as well as 19.82 meters of 146.81 g/t
silver, 1.16 % lead and 2.56 % zinc in DDH-2008-BA-28 and 65.5
meters of 112.57 g/t silver, 0.92 % lead and 1.51 % zinc in
DDH-2008-BA-42. The company believes that the mineralized zone
represents the upper portion of a Kuroko-type volcanogenic massive
sulphide (VMS) system composed of an exhalite horizon with related
zinc-lead-silver mineralization. This mineralization consisting of
finely bedded sphalerite and pyrite with minor galena and
chalcopyrite occurs below the main exhalite (red jasper/green to
grey chert) horizon and is located within mudstones, mudstone
breccias and dacite breccias. Assays received for drill hole DDH
2008-BA-27 to 31 and 2008-BA-42 with results greater than 1 % zinc
or appreciable silver are listed in the table below:

DDH-2008-BA-29 was drilled in the footwall to the mineralization
and did not intersect any values. E. Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a

the exploration program on behalf of the Company. Drill core and
surface samples are assayed by Assayers Canada of Vancouver, BC.
