11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd announces
that drilling has started on its 100 % owned BA claims. The BA
claims are located 30 km east of Stewart in the Skeena mining
division approximately 3 kilometers south of paved Highway 37A.
This project has the potential to host a large Kuroko type VMS
deposit that has silver rich replacement type mineralization
associated with it. It has been drill tested along 500 meters of
strike length in the main exposed area. Drilling utilizing one
drill is presently being conducted from drill pads constructed by a
small excavator which is also used to move the drill from set-up to
set-up. Drilling is on a 15 by 15 meter grid which will enable a
resource calculation at the end of the 2008 program. A second skid
mounted drill will be mobilized within the next 2 weeks to drill
test a wide zone of mudstone-dacite approximately 400 meters south
of the present drilling. A third fly drill utilizing wood drill
decks will test the north end of the horizon. Surface work
approximately 400-500 meters north of the present drilling has
indicated 3 to possibly 4 different exhalite-mudstone-dacite
horizons within an andesite sequence of flows and breccias. Work
has shown sphalerite-galena-pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization
within mudstones in this area. Hydrozincite stain has also been
noted on rock walls along these mudstone sequences. Each of these
new zones appears to be in excess of 30 meters in width. A fourth
drill capable of deeper holes will test the sequence of rocks
hosting the 4 horizons identified. In addition, a strongly
hydrozincite stained mudstone occurs approximately 150 meters
stratigraphically lower than the present exhalite-mudstone-dacite
sequence being drilled. This horizon appears to correlate to a
second horizon noted in a sequence 500 meters north of the present
drilling. Plans are to drill test this second zone either through
deeper holes while testing the upper zone or from lower pads using
a fly drill. Early 2008 drilling has intersected wide zones of
zinc-pyrite-galena-chalcopyrite mineralization in the upper
horizon. In addition, barite rich replacement zones have also been
noted along the andesite-dacite contact along the bottom of the
mineralized sequence. These replacement zones can be high in silver
particularly if chalcopyrite is present. E. Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a
qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of
the exploration program on behalf of the Company. Drill core and
surface samples are assayed by Assayers Canada of Vancouver, BC.
