Trading Symbol: TSX-V-MTB Frankfurt-M9U.F OTC-MBYMF STEWART, BC, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd announces that assays for holes BA-11 to BA-17 from the 2007 drilling exploration program on the 100 % owned BA claims have been received. A total of 31 holes were completed; 26 on the main sulphide zone with 5 on other targets in the project area. The BA claims are located 30 km east of Stewart in the Skeena mining division approximately 3 kilometers south of paved Highway 37A. Highlights of drilling includes 28.96 meters of 203.5 g/t silver, 2.5 % lead and 1.0 % zinc in DDH-2007-BA-15, 2.44 meters of 178.5 g/t silver, 5.6% lead and 1.06% zinc in DDH-2007-BA-16 and 18.29 meters of 246.5 g/t silver, 0.78% lead and 1.71% zinc in DDH-2007-BA-17 including 2.44 meters of 1091 g/t silver, 2.94% lead and 1.31% zinc. The mineralized zone is located in the upper parts of Bear Glacier within the same stratigraphic horizon as that which hosts the Eskay Creek deposit. The company believes that the zone represents the upper portion of a Kuroko-type volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system composed of an exhalite horizon with related zinc-lead-silver mineralization. Mineralization occurs below the main exhalite horizon and is located within mudstones, mudstone breccias and dacite breccias. Mineralized rocks are at least 40 meters to 50 meters wide and mineralization can be traced for over 1 kilometer of strike length and is open along strike and to depth. To date based on the drilling, the mineralized horizon has been defined over appreciable widths over 800 meters of strike length along a bench east of the Bear Glacier. This horizon is amenable to open pitting if economic studies in the future are positive. Four post mineral dykes ranging in width from 1.5 to 2 meters cut through the mineralized horizon. Late stage replacement mineralization associated with barite and hematite alteration appears to carry the high silver values.
