McDonald's Canada President, CEO John Betts to Retire

McDonald's Corp. on Tuesday said John Betts will retire as
president and chief executive of McDonald's Canada after a 50-year
career with the fast-food giant.
McDonald's said Jacques Mignault, currently managing director of
McDonald's Switzerland, will succeed Mr. Betts on Aug. 1.
Mr. Betts, who joined McDonald's in 1970 as a crew member in
Southampton, N.Y., has been at the helm of the Chicago company's
Canadian organization since 2008.
