Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On November 29, 2023, PaxMedica, Inc. (the “Company”) satisfied in full the obligations under its outstanding secured convertible promissory note with Lind Global Fund II LP, through a final cash payment of $0.2 million. The secured convertible promissory note was issued on February 6, 2023 in the original principal amount of $3,680,000 (the “Note”). The satisfaction of the remaining open payment obligations under the Note terminates the Note in full and retires all of the Company's payment obligations thereunder.
