He was responsible for international operations and business development in continental Europe for Vision Networks, the pan-European Cable TV subsidiary of KPN. As marketing director at KPN Mobile he led the taskforce that established the operational marketing and sales plan for the introduction of GSM [Global System for Mobile Communications] in the Netherlands.
