Wameja Ltd. (WJA.AU) said Wednesday that its HomeSend global payment hub continued to make progress in the second quarter of the year with a 28% rise in gross value flows over the past quarter.

However the company--a joint-venture partner with Mastercard Inc (MA) in HomeSend--said that average transactions fell 2% over the quarter while payments terminating to a bank account on the HomeSend network as a percentage of gross value flows slipped to 44% compared with 48% in the first quarter.

HomeSend enables cross-border transfer between bank accounts, cards, mobile wallets, or cash outlets from anywhere in the world.
