--UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH) bought pharmacy group Genoa Healthcare from Advent International, Bloomberg reported Thursday.

--UnitedHealth paid about $2.5 billion for the group, Bloomberg said, citing "a person familiar with the transaction."

--UnitedHealth will fold the company into its OptumRX group, the report said.
