Directorate Changes
AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company,
is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Mangion as a
Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee with
immediate effect.
Joe Mangion, a Chartered Accountant, will bring to the Board
over 20 years of operational experience within the environmental
services and renewable energy sectors, including five years as an
institutional investor and over five years as an independent
consultant. Joe was previously the CEO of Swiss listed Leclanché,
S.A. - a developer and producer of large format lithium-ion energy
storage and energy management systems, Chairman of Solel Solar
Systems Ltd., a private equity backed solar company, and a board
member of Airtricity Plc., a private equity backed wind developer.
Joe also acted as Group Finance Director of Veolia UK and has
executed over $10 billion of M&A and capital markets
transactions.
Tim Yeo and Mitchell Field, both long-serving members of the
Board of AFC Energy, are stepping down as Non-executive
Directors.
John Rennocks, Non-executive Chairman of the Company, commented:

an investor, is invaluable to AFC Energy as we navigate this
transformative period in the Company's history and I would like to
extend a warm welcome to Joe as he joins our Board. We look forward

Tim Yeo served as AFC Energy's Chairman for over a decade and
proved invaluable throughout that period of the Company's growth. I
would like to express my gratitude to Tim for his assistance and
advice over the past few months, and on behalf of the whole team at
AFC Energy, we would like to wish Tim all the best for the
future.
I would also like to thank Mitchell Field for his valuable
contributions to the Company since he joined our Board in 2008.
Mitchell has seen AFC Energy through a period of significant change
and we would like to wish him all the best in his future
endeavours."
