CAMPBELL, Calif., Nov. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Radoslav
"Rado" Danilak, CEO of Silicon Valley startup Tachyum Inc., is
among the invited speakers at conference "Danube Valley: From
Manufacturers to Innovators," organized by GLOBSEC, InfraPartners
Management LLP, and The Slovak Alliance for Innovation Economy. Dr.
Danilak will present on a panel and Q&A about the future of
energy and mobility. Danilak and participants have the honor of
being introduced by H. E. Andrej
Kiska, President of the Slovak Republic. The event will be
held November 30 in Bratislava in the Slovak Republic's Danube
Valley, considered Central
Europe's Silicon Valley.
GLOBSEC, an independent, non-partisan, non-governmental
organization and think tank, advises and publishes on global
security policy, conducts research, and unites experts in foreign
policy, cybersecurity, defense, energy, and other globally critical
fields. Its Bratislava Forum is one of the world's top conferences
on global security in the world, and other events and forums are
attracting elite decision-makers in politics, technology, and
academia.
Danilak and other experts will discuss how a growing world
population, climate change, and finite energy resources are
affecting worldwide industries and driving greater innovation for
complex and globally applicable solutions that combine energy
production, efficiency, distribution, transportation, and
storage.
"As a U.S. citizen born in Slovakia, it's an extraordinary privilege to
share the stage with President Kiska, and to address him on how to
overcome the challenge of powering an exponentially growing data
center industry," said Danilak. "This is the single most critical
challenge facing global data centers, and as 80 percent of the
world's energy still comes from fossil fuels, rising energy costs
and increased pollution are foregone conclusions if we do not take
action."
Danilak is well known as an innovator in bringing low-cost flash
to consumer and enterprise markets on the strength of his landmark
flash memory controller chip developed at SandForce and his game
changing ultra-dense, all-flash arrays at Skyera. Now, Danilak and
a group of industry veterans are designing a high-performance,
ultra-low power Cloud Chip aimed directly at the hyperscale data
center market and cloud computing centers with his latest venture,
Tachyum.
