Exercise of Options

Transaction in Own Shares

PDMR Shareholding

The Company announces that, following the exercise of share options by employee option holders and a PDMR, it today transferred a total of 22,075 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") which were previously held in treasury, to the option holders and PDMR.

The Company also announces that, today, it subsequently purchased 4,011 Ordinary Shares from the employee option holders, off-market, pursuant to the authority granted at the annual general meeting of the Company which was held on 6 May 2016, which it intends to hold in treasury. The purchases from the option holders were each at a price of 512.5 pence per share.

The PDMR, Jim Rimmer, retained his 18,064 shares following his option exercise. Full details of the PDMR option exercise are set out below.

Following the above transactions, the Company now holds 958,365 Ordinary Shares as treasury shares and its total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights is now 12,268,408.
