Sagentia announces that the resolutions set out in the notice of the Annual
General Meeting, which accompanied the Annual Report, were duly passed at the
Company's AGM, other than the proposal to set off the accumulated deficit of
ChF15,371,172 against the general reserve in the company only accounts of
Sagentia. The meeting resolved instead to carry it forward to the financial
statements of the year 2008, recognising that while it is usual for a Swiss
company to offset any deficit against the general reserve, recent changes in
Swiss law may allow the company greater flexibility if the deficit is retained
in reserves.
