Grant of Options under 2016 Sharesave Scheme

Forterra plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has launched a Sharesave Scheme ("the Scheme") which is open to all employees subject to certain requirements. Participants can choose to save up to GBP500 per month over a 3 year period.

Pursuant to the Scheme, on 24 October the Company granted options over 4,711,403 ordinary shares of GBP0.01 each (ISIN GB00BYYW3C20). The exercise price which was set in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs rules was GBP1.35 per share. The options have a contract start date of 1 December 2016 and are exercisable between 1 December 2019 and 1 June 2020. The exercise of options on maturity is not dependent upon performance criteria.

As part of the Scheme described above, options were granted to the following Executive Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMRs).
