Barclays Former CEO Acquitted of Fraud Charges -BBC

--Barclays PLC (BARC.LN) former Chief Executive John Varley has
been acquitted of charges of conspiracy to commit fraud, the BBC
reports.
--According to the BBC, the Court of Appeal declined an
application made by the Serious Fraud Office to overturn an earlier
decision that ther wasn't sufficient evidence against the former
CEO.
--The BBC also reports that the Court of Appeal upheld the SFO's
application in respect of Roger Jenkins, Tom Kalaris and Richard
Boath, all of who will face a retrial.
