BAE Systems will feature a range of innovative products and
capabilities to meet U.S. Army needs at the 2016 Association of the
United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in
Washington, D.C., October 3-5. The company will host the following
media briefings, highlighting combat vehicle programs and precision
guided munitions technology that is currently in use or in
development. The Army will join BAE Systems for one of the
briefings, about the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle program.

BAE Systems will unveil its Next Generation
Bradley Fighting Vehicle demonstrator. The concept vehicle was
built with internal research and development funding to demonstrate
a technologically superior and cost-effective option for the Army
to address current and future needs. The vehicle also experiments
with current, emerging, and future technologies.

BAE Systems was awarded a contract in
December 2014 to produce the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV)
as a replacement to the M113. The company will display a prototype
of the AMPV medical variant, and officials will discuss the
features of the vehicle. In addition, BAE Systems will be joined by
the Army to discuss the current state of the AMPV program,
including recent program milestones and an update on
production.
