Alfa Bond Issuance PLC announces a prepayment of Series 2 U.S.$250,000,000 9.5 per cent. Loan Participation Notes due 2025 (ISIN: XS1135611652, US01538RAE99) (the "Notes")

Alfa Bond Issuance plc (the "Lender") announces that AO "Alfa-Bank" (the "Borrower") has notified the Lender of its intention to prepay the U.S.$250,000,000 subordinated loan (the "Loan") pursuant to Clause 6.5 of the Subordinated Loan Agreement dated 14 November 2014 between the Lender and the Borrower. The Loan was financed by the Notes issued by the Lender pursuant to its U.S.$5,000,000,000 programme for the Issuance of Loan Participation Notes.

The Borrower intends to prepay the Loan in whole on 18 February 2020. The Notes will consequently be prepaid on 18 February 2020 in an amount equal to the outstanding principal amount of the Notes together with accrued but unpaid interest thereon.

The prior written consent of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to the prepayment of the Loan by the Borrower was duly obtained on 23 December 2019.
