Imperial Brands PLC (IMB.LN) said Monday that Stefan Bomhard has been appointed as chief executive.

The British tobacco company said that Mr. Bomhard's appointment will be effective at a date to be announced.

Mr. Bomhard had been chief executive of Inchcape PLC (INCH.LN) for around five years, the FTSE-100 listed company said.
