SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Building Materials Holding Corporation (NASDAQ:BMHC) today announced that Terrill Rust has been promoted to Vice President, Application Services for BMHC. Ms. Rust, who previously served as Director of Applications on the Company's information technology (IT) team, will continue to report to Jeff Lucchesi, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this expanded role, Ms. Rust will continue to lead the development of our new project methodology, which is currently being implemented throughout the organization. She will also focus on rolling out the Company's IT strategic plan. Ms. Rust, 48, has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology field, with a particular focus in software application development. Since joining BMHC in May 2005, she has delivered -- on time and on budget -- several high-profile, mission-critical projects, including Timberline and NxTrend rollouts in our SelectBuild and BMC West operating divisions, as well as a new human resources information system company-wide. Prior to joining BMHC, she held various positions of increasing responsibility at Micron Technology for sixteen years, most recently serving as Enterprise Business Systems Manager. Ms. Rust has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Idaho. Robert E.
