Autogrill SpA (AGL.MI), an Italian company which runs businesses ranging from restaurants along highways to duty-free shops at airports, said Wednesday it agreed with Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) to extend their partnership to develop new business in Europe.

In a statement, Autogrill said it will start operating Starbucks stores at its main points of sale in France, including railway stations and the Marseilles airport.

Autogrill will also introduce the Starbucks brand on motorways in the Netherlands.

The Italian company said it currently operates around 370 Starbucks stores, with 352 in North America and 15 in Europe, generating revenue of more than $450 million in 2010.

The two companies will continue exploring new business opportunities together, said Autogrill Chief Executive Gianmario Tondato Da Ruos in the statement.
