Explanation of Responses:
( 1)  Effective December 11, 2009, the Board of Directors of International Absorbents Inc. (the "Company") approved an extension of the expiry date for this stock option from December 13, 2009 to May 31, 2010, in light of the Company's proposed arrangement with IAX Acquisition Corporation, as more fully described in the Company's Cuurrent Report on Form 8-K filed December 15, 2009.
