UBS Group AG has appointed Elvis He as its new head of technology, media and telecom for China, according to an internal announcement on Monday seen by The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday.

Mr. He joins the bank in Hong Kong from Citic CLSA, where he was head of TMT for the past four years. He will report to Patrick Tsang, UBS's APAC Head of Technology, Media, and Telecommunications.
