--Linde AG and Praxair Inc. have started selling industrial gas assets as they wait for regulators to approve their combination, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

--A number of rivals are interested in the assets, valued around $8 billion, according to Bloomberg. These include Air Liquide SA and Air Products & Chemicals Inc.
