CFO Appointment

19 December 2017: UDG Healthcare, a leading international healthcare services provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Clerkin as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Nigel will start with the Company on 1 May 2018 and will replace Alan Ralph from that date. Alan will support the transition until his previously announced retirement in November 2018.

Nigel most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer with ConvaTec Group plc, a London Stock Exchange listed company, where he worked for the last three years. ConvaTec is a global medical products and technologies company, employing approximately 9,000 employees worldwide. Prior to this, Nigel held roles in Elan Corporation plc, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, culminating in its sale to Perrigo Company plc in 2013. He started his career as an auditor with KPMG and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

As Chief Financial Officer, the finance and the investor relations functions of UDG Healthcare will report into Nigel. Nigel will also be appointed a Director of the Company in May 2018.
