ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., a leading provider of clinical 
development outsourcing solutions to the biopharmaceutical industry, announces 
that notice of our 2009 annual meeting and proxy statement ("Proxy Statement") 
has been mailed to our stockholders. The annual meeting is to be held at 9.00 
a.m., local time, on May 27, 2009 at RPS' office at 520 Virginia Drive, Fort 
Washington, Pennsylvania, 19034 ("Annual Meeting"). 
The Annual Meeting will, amongst other things, seek stockholders' approval for 
election of three Class II directors and the ratification of the Audit 
Committee's appointment of Ernst & Young, LLP as our independent auditor for 
2009.

Statement.  This announcement is a summary of the information contained in the
