Transaction in own shares

Phaunos Timber Fund Limited announces that on 12 May 2017 the Company purchased 770,000 ordinary shares at no par value, to be held in treasury, at a price of 48 cents per share.

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 545,754,832 Ordinary Shares with voting rights and in addition 25,460,045 Ordinary Shares held in Treasury.

Accordingly, 545,754,832 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
