Directorate change

Further to the announcement dated 6 August 2018, Capital & Regional, the UK focused REIT with a portfolio of dominant in-town community shopping centres, announces that, following a search process undertaken by the Board, Stuart Wetherly, current acting Group Finance Director, has been permanently appointed to the position of Executive Director and Group Finance Director, effective 11 March 2019. He will also continue to undertake the duties of Company Secretary.

Previously Director of Operational Finance and Reporting & Company Secretary, Stuart has been in senior finance roles in Capital & Regional since joining the Company in November 2012. During his career prior to Capital & Regional, he was a director in Deloitte LLP's audit practice for six years, acting for clients including a number of international FTSE 250 companies, and also held finance roles at Johnson Matthey PLC.

Stuart is ACA qualified and holds a BSc (Joint Hons) from University College London University.
