1335 GMT - EDP-Energias de Portugal SA is one of the most mentioned companies in the news over the past 12 hours, according to Factiva data, after its renewables subsidiary secured a 20-year power purchase agreement in the U.S. EDP Renovaveis SA will sell energy produced by a 198-megawatt wind project in the state of Indiana that is expected to be operational in 2025. With this new contract, EDP said it has secured about 45% of the approximately 7.4 gigawatt target additions for North America, and about 43% of secured capacity out of the 17 GW total target additions for the 2023-26 period for EDPR.
