LONDON--Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (RBS.LN) Thursday priced its 10-year $1.5 billion senior notes.

It plans to use the proceeds from the sale for general corporate purposes.

The 73%-government-owned bank said the offering is scheduled to close on April 5.
