Novartis Appoints Executive Committee Members; President of Operations to Leave

Novartis AG (NOVN.EB) said Monday that it appointed three new
members to its executive committee, and that Andre Wyss, president
of operations, is leaving the company.
Bertrand Bodson, chief digital officer, and Steffen Lang, global
head of technical operations, have been appointed to the company's
executive committee.
The Swiss company said that Shannon Klinger's role has been
expanded to chief ethics, risk and compliance officer, and she has
also been appointed to the executive committee.
All the changes will be effective from April 1.
"The appointments of Bertrand Bodson, Steffen Lang and Shannon
Klinger to the ECN will help us accelerate our efforts to lead in
data and digital," said Chief Executive Vas Narasimhan.
The company also said that Andre Wyss, president of operations,
has decided to leave Novartis.
Novartis Operations will be split into Novartis Technical
Operations and Novartis Business Services, it said.
