Corning Inc. Shares Drop 7% as Co. Cuts Guidance For Two Segments

Shares of Corning Inc. (GLW) are falling in Monday's after-hours
market after the company said it was cutting guidance on its
display technologies and optical communications segments.
At 6:18 p.m. ET, the company's shares had fallen 6.82% to trade
at $28. After-hours volume topped 77,000 shares.
The company's shares finished the day's regular trading session
with a 0.36% loss to close at $30.05.
After the bell Corning said it was cutting its guidance for the
two segments, while maintaining guidance for its other three
segments. The company also said it plans to engage in cost-cutting
measures.
